VIDEO: Corsa Develops Axle-Back Exhaust for 2017 Camaro ZL1

Corsa Performance has really been bringing it with the development of 6th-gen Camaro exhaust systems, and you can now add the ZL1 to that list. ZL1 owners will get to experience Corsa’s signature dyno, track, and driver verified axle-back exhaust systems. These new axle-back exhaust systems will come in two different sound levels, both with twin exhaust tips.

Both options are 2.75” in diameter and come with twin 4.0” tips. After you chose the sound level from the Sport or Xtreme options, choose either polished or black tips for your system, and you’ll be ready to order and install. Learn more about the sound profiles from the official Corsa release below.

The Sport sound level produces a true modern muscle car tone that would be ideal for those who want a more robust exhaust note (+4db over the stock system) than stock but are concerned about overall volume or are planning future modifications such as long tube headers, while the Xtreme system is for the driver that wants his car to be seen and heard yielding nearly (+10db over the stock system).

No matter which system the consumer chooses both systems are quiet at cruise with only a marginal increase in interior cabin volume between the “Sport” and Xtreme systems. Each system delivers a deep exhaust note that is fitting of the Camaro platform while the Xtreme system allows a few higher frequencies to enter the acoustic experience providing more volume and a bit more “exotic” muscle car tone.

Both systems outflowed the stock configuration by up to 10% meaning leading to more potential power throughout the driving experience.
