The Buick GS Nationals Returns to Bowling Green for 2017
A long standing tradition of Tri-Shield performance, the Buick GS Nationals have been having their own in a world filled with Chevy power. However, Buicks have powered more than one or two performance cars over the last few decades, and we’ve been seeing more and more modern turbo 4-cylinder Regals popping up in recent years at the event.
For those who how a Tri-Shield product, but have never visited the event — we highly recommend that you do. The GS Nationals is an extension of the Buick GS Club of America, and is home to everything Buick-related; from classic Gran Sports and Rivieras, to the boosted V6 G-bodies from the 1980s and modern the FWD sedans of today.
Filled with an endless sea of Buicks; drag racing, collecting show trophies and up for sale in the corral, you can earn an eyeful of Buick goodness. If you need parts or collectibles, there’s also a swap meet and vendor booths on hand to supply you with whatever you need for your project.
The dates for the event span four days, from September 13-17th, and there’s always fun after the show where most of the car owners go out for dinner and drinks. The area hotels have also been put on notice, and are now accepting bookings for the event. Ron Joseph of the Buick GS Club of America has listed the hotels below:
Suggest you book quickly as rooms are selling out fast. See you there!
